International Combustion (India) Limited started its operations in India in 1936 representing the business interests of International Combustion, UK in India. The company currently is an Indian public limited company and is a leading manufacturer of industrial machinery for various core sector industries including process industries. The company has multi locational manufacturing facilities in the State of West Bengal, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
Keeping in view all the major plans of investment on urbanisation, rural housing projects and rapidly growing demands by the government, the company decided to supply high end building material and construction chemicals and set up a plant with the technology and plant & machinery provided by Mtec Germany ad FLSmidth India. The company produces high end dry mortars in the present plant which has a manufacturing capacity of 1,20,000 tons per annnum.
The company also decided to bring in state of the art technology in this field and has entered into a license agreement with Cementos CAPA, Spain to manufacture and market the full spectrum of the products to the Indian market.
